I’m Jim Wright and I serve on the staff team at Crossroads. It’s been such a privilege for me to serve with a great men’s leadership team and to help men grow in their walk with Christ. I love studying God’s Word with men and help make it come alive for them. I enjoy hiking the back country trails and talking through life issues. I’m married to Tori (44 years), have 3 incredible adult kids (Ben, Laura & Kristin), and 4 really enjoyable grandchildren.
John and his wife Lena began attending CBC in the Fall of 2004 and became members in early 2005. Chuck and his wife, Linda, joined Crossroads Bible Church when they began attending in 2006. Chuck began his aviation career in 1969 as an Army helicopter pilot. He served in Vietnam as a Warrant Officer and saw combat with the 1st Air Cavalry Division. He returned to get his fixed wing ratings with the GI Bill and flew airplanes as a flight instructor, charter pilot and corporate pilot. From 1980 to 1985, he was the pilot of Chopper 7 for KIRO TV in Seattle and earned an Emmy Award for his television reporting. He has flown as an air ambulance pilot in Learjets and managed several aviation businesses. Marc has been a believer for almost forty years, and has been married to his beautiful wife, Brenda, for forty-three years with eight grandchildren from their three daughters and husbands. Marc is originally from Michigan, but has lived in Bellevue since 1987. He retired from the computer industry, and has been pursuing his Master’s at Western Seminary with a hopeful and desired graduation of spring 2019. Marc has been involved in Men’s Ministry most of his church life and has a passion to see men discipled and growing in their walk with the Lord Jesus. He leads a Missional Community Group in the Bellevue area, a Men’s DNA Group focused on discipleship using the Every Man a Warrior material, and meets regularly with numerous men in and outside CBC. He is a broken yet thankful sojourner who’s favorite Bible text is Hebrews 12:1-3. He’s an avid reader—so coming up with a favorite book was tough—but “Follow Me” by Jan Hettinga, is in the top half-dozen. Marc has a Post-It note on his home computer that says, ‘I’m committed to building a Biblically functioning community at CBC…’ He’d also enjoy grabbing a cup of coffee and getting to know you better…anytime.
